Audition input voice too low.
Solution.
As pro user said audition always record the right audio level, if the recorded audio level is too low then it must be microphone problem.
On mac, find sound preferences and adjust this button.
In windows, you may try sound setting -> Device properties -> Microphone properties then adjust the volume.
This will solve 90% of the problems.
If you've already set it to the max but still recording low, then check the external sound card mic level esp. for knot.
